Letting my sleeping dog lie.
Our Nantucket holiday is finished, but the maddeningly difficult jigsaw puzzle we attempted as a vacation diversion is not. 🙂
My granddaughter heads home; it turned out to be quite a task to properly buckle her into her car seat.
My grandson met his new little sister this afternoon for the first time; a personal and sentimental moment to be sure, but there was nothing in the whole wide world that mattered to me more today.
A momentously happy day for our family…my granddaughter, Maeve Elizabeth O’Shaughnessy arrived today just before 8 AM. Blessings abound.
Special thanks to my wonderful daughter-in-law, who endured a C-Secion (and more) to bring this sweet little girl into our lives.
Morning light, Greenwich, Connecticut.
