The beach and boardwalk at Rye Playland has become my go-to spot of late. The low angle of the winter sun and the slightly crumbling Art Deco architecture has become a creative inspiration—even today, when the windchill was in the single digits–it is a place I’m constantly finding new things to photograph. As for this image, to me it looks like a stairway to heaven.
