Another shot from my morning walk with the dogs. The day was very gray, but a fair bit of work in Photoshop and Lightroom turned this very bland shot into something I really like. It’s funny, I put the 105mm macro on the camera this morning thinking I’d do some close-ups of frost on the leaves, and this is what I ended up with.
I must say, now that I’ve gotten over my fall-foliage withdrawal, I’m really enjoying the beauty of bare trees. I am so thankful for the changing seasons here in New England; there is something new to see–and a new way to see it–nearly every day.
I am also thankful that today is my 300th day of this project; there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
