I had a host of wedding related errands to run in the city today, and it was another beautiful day so I figured I could grab a quick street shot for my daily photo. (I have taken to lugging my SLR EVERYWHERE; my husband remarked yesterday that it has become an extra appendage. While I’m more or less used to it, I sometimes feel that when this year of daily photos is up I may never take another photograph!)
For some reason the ubiquitous tourist postcard racks are what caught my eye today…I liked the black and white postcard of the Empire State Building amidst all the surrounding color and energy that is New York.
