There is a swampy patch of woods that I walk by every day and the shallow water is frozen solid. The snow, ice and blue sky added up to a tremendous amount of blue light, the perfect combination for a shot like this. Other than slightly increasing the blues and blacks in Lightroom, this is straight out of the camera.
