Rain and thunderstorms were forecast for today, but the weather turned glorious so I went down to the beach for a long walk with my Lensbaby. I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of this little plastic lens, and I like the mood it evokes when I get it right.
This bench looks out on Long Island Sound, and was clearly donated in memory of someone (I did not stop to read the plaque, but will another day). The “memento mori” of flowers caught my eye, adding a wonderful splash of color to the weathered grey wood.
