My youngest daughter has always just adored the local fairs that come through town during the summer–it seems that nearly every local school hosts one at some point. So tonight, rather than just drop her and run, I brought my camera and wandered through the pre-pubescent crowd.
For the record, Whac-a-Mole is my all time favorite arcade game. If you haven’t had the distinct pleasure of playing it, the game is very simple and amounts to little more than whacking little moles that pop up (with accelerating speed) with a giant padded mallet. It is unspeakably cathartic.
Photo taken with a D700 and a plastic Lensbaby lens, an unspeakably wacky combination–but I think it works.
