I’ve photographed this huge mausoleum at Putnam Cemetery repeatedly over the course of the year of my daily photos; no matter what the time of day or state of the weather I almost find something interesting about this structure. (My posts from October 29th, September 24th and March 31st all feature this building, not to mention the countless shots that never made the cut for Photo of the Day.) Today it was just the strong angle of the winter light and the simple solidity of the classic fluted pillars that caught my eye.
