Yesterday’s monsoon was replaced by today’s gentle blizzard (some might not agree with the term gentle, but hey, I grew up in Minnesota). I spent so much time outside with the dogs and my camera that I had to resort to the old baggies-in-the-boots trick to keep my feet warm.
The landscape was beautiful, if gray, and even though I took hundreds of photos the weather was a real challenge. Wet snow kept clouding my lens and my fingers quickly grew too numb (I have Reynaud’s syndrome) to operate the camera. Thus, most of the pictures I took today went right to the computer’s trash bin. I finally resorted to a trip to the nearby cemetery, figuring I could always hop in the car to warm up my fingers when necessary.
