Low on time and inspiration today, but I did spot this quirky detail in the woods this morning; I found it curious that the twisted vine appears both older and healthier than the sapling it has wound itself around. Perhaps I need to read up on my botany–or at the very least find out what kind of tree this is.
I am off to the Palm Springs Photo Festival this afternoon for a workshop with Joel Meyerowitz, a photographer whose work I have admired for many years. I am excited and nervous in equal measure…I’ll keep you posted!
