Sick to death of photographing the woods where I walk every morning, I headed over to Rye Playland this afternoon in search of inspiration. After many trips there this winter when it was mostly deserted, today I found the amusement park open and the place full of kids and families enjoying the beautiful weather.
Playland is a wonderful old place, designed and developed by Coney Island’s architect, and home to one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the country. Six Flags it is not…and that’s what I love about it.
