Katie and I hiked from our hotel in Portofino to San Fruttuoso today, a town that can only be reached by boat or on foot. We set out after an early breakfast, blithely unaware of the trek ahead of us. It was ninety minutes of pretty intense hiking (each way), but our payoff was this quiet little monastery tucked into the bay of this tiny Italian town.
