So, we have traveled 3000 miles to what we hoped would be “sunny California” for our spring break, and today’s weather rivaled much of what we suffered through all winter in the Northeast. Torrential rain, sideways, all day–and flash flood warnings all night. We didn’t even leave the hotel. I was reduced to playing around with the iPhone and the flower arrangement in our hotel room. Tomorrow’s forecast is for more of the same, but our plan is to find a flight out of here.
