Young suits, Wall Street.
At first look–and when this moment caught my eye–this appeared to be a simple scene, yet when you look harder you find a wealth of detail: the trio of red ties, the varied hand gestures and expressions, the posturing and all those proud, polished shoes.
To my mind these guys look too young and uninitiated to understand the vagaries of Wall Street, but perhaps they already possess what it takes to make it here: attitude, confidence and, dare I say, testosterone.
This is what enchants me about photography: when a moment captures–and conveys–more than I actually see when I take the photograph.
