Every photo I took today was dull and boring, so at 9:30 pm I took out my camera and went out on our deck to try–yet again–to get a shot of our flowering apple tree. It burst into bloom exactly a week ago, and now, as you can see, the blossoms are rapidly shedding their petals. It’s funny, I like this nighttime shot (illuminated only by the porch light) better than any of the 50 photos I’ve snapped of the tree in the daylight hours.
