I drove up to Garrison, New York today today to iron out more wedding details with my soon to be daughter-in-law. The reception will be held at Osborn Castle, a charming old family mansion on the banks of the Hudson River. The “castle” is an old stone mansion that has been owned by the Osborn family for generations, and is now rented out a few weekends a year to help the family keep up with the crushing costs of real estate taxes and maintenance.
The house has a dusty charm and an incredible view of the Hudson Valley–and while the bride to be discussed wedding plans I prowled around with my camera.
