I headed down to Byram Beach in search of my daily photo; it’s not the most interesting waterside spot in town, but it’s compact and often deserted, making it a good place for me to prowl around taking photos of odd things without people looking at me funny. This scene of the deserted cabanas caught my eye, and even though it was just 1:00 pm the relatively low angle of the sun at this time of year made for some interesting shadows. I almost posted this in black and white, but then decided that the little strip of bright blue sky made it a more interesting composition.
