Woke very early to give alms to the monks of Luang Prabang, whose entire diet is donated by townspeople and tourists in a beautiful predawn ceremony. I didn’t bring out the camera until we had contributed rice to all the monks who processed by our hotel, and even then used my longest lens to keep from being an obnoxious interloper.
