This is a waterfall I walk by every morning with the dogs, but since a shot like this–unoriginal as it may be–requires a tripod, I’ve not photographed it since the spring. Because it was the only thing I could think of to shoot on this gray, cold day, I made a detour to the spot–tripod in hand–on the way to pick up my daughter from school.
