There is a wonderful and short-lived Tumblr blog, Shit My Photography Professor Says, where the unnamed professor, (clearly Thomas Roma), implores, “Don’t you dare go to Chinatown. Leave the fucking Chinese alone.” Every time I raise a camera to my eye in Chinatown this admonishment rings in my brain, but today this Chinatown corner seemed a worthy subject; the reflection, signs, shapes and colors offered up an interesting mix, not to mention that little old man with a cane punctuating the middle of it all.
