Today is my daughter Lael’s 14th Birthday–so there was no way she was getting out of a quick portrait sitting for my photo of the day. We are still in Arizona and the light was too strong outside for a good portrait, so I wrapped her in our hotel room curtains, used a wide aperture and full on flash–usually a no-no for me.
She is becoming such a beautiful young lady and she makes me proud in so many ways. Happy Birthday darling!
