I have been struggling with my photography of late; now that the trees are in full leaf and the sun is so high in the sky I find the local landscape rather uninspiring. I never thought I would hanker for the colder months, but I do miss the dramatic light and the bare trees that enchanted me all winter.
But today was overcast, and to me it made the woods much more beautiful. I walk by this lake every single day and have shot this scene in every season, but today I thought it looked just about perfect.
