A true desperation shot. I arrived home from my weekend in Minnesota with little energy and even less enthusiasm for my photo of the day. I told my husband that I was going to just take a picture of a wall; he handed me a little crystal ball that sits on our window sill and said, “Here, photograph this.” We ordered Chinese food (did I mention little energy?) and I put the crystal ball on the takeout menu. Most of all, I realized I was delighted to be home with my happy family.
