I never got around to posting a daffodil photo when they were all blooming, but I did pluck a few dying ones from my front yard and dried them out, thinking it might make an interesting photo–after my withered rose photo I realize that dead flowers have a lot of creative potential. As you can see, I didn’t spend a whole lot of time getting the lighting right (the whole set up amounted to a clip-on desk light and a hand-held green sheet of construction paper), but I like the color and the simplicity.
