In anticipation of the Thanksgiving feed to come, my husband and I took a good long walk at the beach this afternoon to work up our appetites. This nearly bare tree caught my eye, holding on to its last subtle orange leaves. I am thankful for simple little scenes like this, as I am for the larger blessings in my life.
