It was a beautiful day here, unseasonably warm (nearly 70 degrees) and sunny–one of those days where a hunt for a daily photo is a true joy. I headed down to Binney Park in Old Greenwich in search of inspiration, and a mother and her small daughter were feeding the ducks and the single swan who frequents the pond. I must have taken 100 photos of this beautiful bird, and, truth be told, most of them were so banal that I sent them right to the computer’s trash bin. But it was this moment, when the swan was cleaning its feathers, that I knew I had my photo for the day.
