Today my son got married; being the mother of the groom I had to resist the urge to photograph all day and all night, but there were professionals doing a far better job of recording the occasion than I ever could. It just kills me that I couldn’t take a great portrait of Patrick and Lauren for my photo of the day, but I did pull out the camera while the bridesmaids, moms and the bride got dressed, and snapped this simple shot of the back of Lauren’s beautiful dress.
It was one of the most memorable days of our lives, and seeing my son just glowing with happiness is something I will never forget. We adore our new daughter-in-law and her family, and feel blessed beyond measure. Welcome to the family, Lauren!
